Whether or not we want to admit it, trends are something everyone follows in some aspect. When it comes to clothes you can’t avoid them. And that’s okay. I think a lot of people see following trends as a bad thing. Which I totally understand, but everyone has their own unique personal style. My favorite part about fashion will always be how people express themselves through what they wear. I find so much inspiration in people’s perspective and how they style certain pieces.

Lately I’ve been loving the mesh trend- perfect for spring/summer when you don’t want to wear a tank or a tee shirt. Just layer one over a bralet or a crop top. I am a huge fan or getting a way with wearing Lulu lemon yoga pants whenever I can (comfort is everything), so I paired a cop top with them and threw a mesh shirt on top. I grabbed a black bomber to go on top, but I could have added a denim or leather jacket as well. If you know me, you know outwear is my favorite part of any outfit. I wanted to add a pop of color to my outfit so I grabbed these Flyknit Airmaxes out of my closet.

I’ve seen a lot of people wearing mesh shirts with light wash denim or black denim shorts, which is another way to wear them. Grab a pair of heels or booties, bralet and some jewelry and you’re set. Want to switch up your outfit tonight? Trade in your crop top for a mesh shirt and a body con skirt. Running errands? Go the route I did and opt for a more athletic style. Either way, make it your own. I hear way too much, “everyone has it I don’t want it.” Cool! Great for them! They are not you and they do not have your style or your touch. Make a trend your own and interpret them however you want. If you like it wear it.

What I'm wearing: Aritzia bomber | Urban Outfiters mesh shirt | Alexander Wang crop |  Lulu Lemon pants | Nike Flyknit Airmax
