MIAMI DESIGN DISTRICT AND WYNWOOD
I found my way to the Miami Design District after a friend recommended I check it out. The Lyft ride from Brickell was less than $10 and took me on a short tour down town. Given that I wen on a Wednesday evening the Design District was a lot quieter than one could imagine the scene on the weekend. Aside from every popular designer store, the architecture mixed with the plant life gave the space a modern and aesthetically pleasing look. It was really cool to see the mix between fashion, art and nature all in one space.
The most colorful and artistic city I've been to, Wynwood holds some of the most abstract street art. While the main Wynwood Walls are packed with people, I found myself wandering down side streets filled with less formal murals. Not to mention the main street has some of the most eclectic stores. I found some unique art for purchase and ate some of the best food. There's really no place like Wynwood.
