The Essentials

When it comes to working a busy schedule I need my body to be able to keep up. In order to stay on track and unstressed I rely on a few things to keep my skin clear, digestive track happy and mental focused. The last thing I want to do is spend tons of money on supplements and organization tools in order to achieve this. That's why I am so happy to partner with Amazon to bring you their $10 item list (with free shipping). I've taken the time to carefully choose things I use in my every day life, that everyone who is working towards their goals need.

TEA TREE OIL | SKIN

I have extremely sensitive skin that dries out easily when I use products with heavy chemicals. I prefer using tea tree oil on problem areas that pop up on my skin. My skin doesn't break out often, but when it does this is my go to. Keeping my skin clear is so essential!

ACTIVATED CHARCOAL | DETOXIFYING

I'm a big fan of the charcoal lemonade from Pressed Juicery although I am not a fan of spending $8 for one bottle! This jar of activated charcoal cost about as much as one bottle at your local juice shop, and you can get probably 100 servings in just one container. Activated charcoal (different from charcoal) acts as a detoxifier. You can use it to whiten your teeth, create a face mask and even drink. I've found that 1/4 of a tablespoon + 12oz water + 3-4 tablespoons of lemon juice create the perfect charcoal lemonade. If you want to mix it up try adding some lavender essential oil and to sweetened try liquid stevia!

NOTES | MENTAL

Balancing school, a full time job, working out, blogging and maintaining some sort of social life can be super overwhelming sometimes! If you're anything like me and can't write things down in a physical planner (I can only use my iPhone or work calendar) then a notebook might work better. While my desk is constantly flooded with sticky notes, it's nice to have a notebook full of  notes for posts, meeting locations/times and to-do lists all in one spot. It's also a nice reminder that I'm working hard and hustling to meet my goals!
