For my birthday weekend I was given the chance to go to one of my favorite cities: New York. Although it's under 30 degrees and snowy, well today at least, there was still much to do. I started my day at the Museum of Modern Art, which I highly recommend to anyone who is coming to the city anytime soon. It was great seeing Monet and Van Gogh's pieces again. Aside from the traditional and popular paintings, there was a nice photography and film exhibit. I also ventured across the city to the New Museum, which is more contemporary and smaller, not as exciting as Moma. I spent the rest of the day touring around Soho, and going to dinner on the eve of my birthday.
I kept my outfit really simple, white was the main focus. Which is ironic since New York looked like a white wonderland later in the day. I packed my boyfriend style jeans, they're basic and comfortable for walking around. Sweaters in the winter are a given and an essential, this grey v-neck is light enough to layer with, and casual enough to wear around town on a busy day. This jacket is my absolute favorite, and I've been neglecting it a lot lately, it's nice to have outwear in basic colors: black, white, neutral even a green or maroon. I kept this outfit matching and more my pointed white boots from Zara, they're not the most comfortable or the most ideal for the snow, but I love them.
