First Stop Miami
After four months of planning we finally landed in Miami, Florida. From the time we got off the plane to the time we boarded to head home we never experiences a dull moment. The trip revolved around the Rolling Loud music festival (with a line up like that it's hard to say no). With not a lot of time to spend outside the festival I managed to collect a few photos from around the city- not to mention the view from our Airbnb was killer. Sitll wishing we spent more time on Ocean Drive, South Beach and exploring Brickell, but I guess that leaves time for another trip.
We stayed in Brickell, which was extremely close to the festival and anywhere else we needed to go. The city was wild for CInco De Mayo, It was great experiencing the culture down there especially on such a celebrated holiday.
It's been awhile since I've experienced the East Coast beaches. This is probably the only thing they have on the West Coast. We got on the plane right after leaving the beach (which took an hour to get from South Beach back to Brickell). Aside from all that the beach was absolutely beautiful, right when we walked in a school of fish swam by.
Unfortunately we didn't make it out to eat much since most of our time was spent at the festival. We did find this restaurant in downtown Brickell which has the best mahi mahi salad. So good we went there twice.
